Kent Brittain's work is inspired by his intimate relationship with the environment, which stems from his love and respect for the land and a keen understanding of how buildings can gently co-exist with nature. After obtaining his degrees at The University of Texas at San Antonio Kent worked as a project manager and elevated to Associate at DHR Architects and later a Project Executive with PBK.  With all the expertise learned in the field, Kent returned to his roots in 2017 and founded Above+Ground+Design, where his years of experience as a designer, builder, artist and preservationist converge.
